The 2013 Heritage & Bicycle Festival

Mason Heritage & Bicycle Festival will be held on Saturday, September 14 at the Mason Municipal Campus. The new location enables the event to leverage the Mason Community Center, Mason Municipal Building, Corwin M. Nixon and Pine Hill Lakes Park. It also allows for an expanded parade route and provides better parking. The 2013 Heritage & Bicycle Festival will continue to build on the current momentum of expanding activities, including a longer parade route, larger areas for the Kids Zone, Teen Zone and Craft Mall as well as more food, shopping and entertainment offerings. 

Live Local Talent!

Plan to come out and enjoy the 10th annual Mason Idol finals competition will once again be live on stage - preliminary rounds will take place in the weeks leading up to the Festival.  Cash prizes are awarded for first place winners in each age category - be sure to visit the Mason Idol page for more details about registration, audition dates, times and locations.

Decorated Bicycles in the parade!

Bring your decorated bike to the Municipal Building in the morning for the parade and enter the Bicycle Decorating Contest.

Little Miss Heritage Pageant

The Mason Heritage & Bicycle Festival invites children entering the 2nd grade in the fall of 2013 to enter the 20th annual Little Miss Heritage Pageant. Contestants must live within the Mason school district but do not need to attend a Mason public school.

Contestants must be available to attend a tea for refreshments and interviews on September 14th.  No fancy pageant dresses or talent are required.  Judging will be based on personality only.  All contestants will participate in Mason's Heritage Festival Parade, which will be held on Saturday, August 18.  The crowning of Little Miss Heritage 2013 and her court will take place on the festival's main grandstand after the parade.  Winners will be expected to represent the Mason Heritage & Bicycle Festival at other Ohio festivals throughout the year.
