The 2008 Mason Heritage
Festival – Coming Home!
Festivals of Mason, Inc. is proud to announce the Mason Heritage
Festival on Saturday, August 23, 2008. The Festival will be “Coming
Home” to downtown Mason after having to relocate for 2006 & 2007 due
to downtown construction. We would like to thank Mason City Schools
for allowing us the use of the Mason High School parking lots for the
Festival for the last two summers.
EVER BEEN IN AN
OUT HOUSE RACE?
This year the Mason Heritage Festival Committee is excited to bring
back one of the oldest traditional events in MHF history .. The Out
House Race. Area companies can compete for the Plunger Prize
trophy and bragging rights by entering their very own, hand-built out
house. The out house must be on wheels and meet other specifications –
please see the application in the
download center on the Mason
Heritage Festival page. Talk about great “exposure” for your
company...
Good luck to all of this year’s entries!!!
THE BATTLE OF
THE BANDS IS BACK!
Local bands consisting of junior high and high school-aged musicians
can compete for prizes on their own stage at the Festival. Check out
the application in the
download center of the Mason
